Why Sqwig

The text box we couldn't buy when we needed it.

Every option was a suite, and spellcheck was a separate license that either read our users' text as they typed or became another service to run. So we built this instead.

The formatting people use

Formatting, headings, lists, links, and clean paste. Paste from Word or Google Docs and the formatting comes through clean. On paid plans, one click exports it back to Word, built in the browser.

Spellcheck on the device

Not a partner, not an add-on, not a separate invoice. The dictionary ships to the browser and checks locally, so the squiggle appears without a round trip.
