Easy for finance to approve.
The covenant
Rich text editors became expensive plumbing: per-seat licenses, metered loads, spellcheck sold separately. Sqwig is the opposite — a complete editor at around 4× less than comparable ones, with three promises that make it stick.
The dictionary ships to the browser and checks locally. There are no network calls to Sqwig — none; your license key is a signed token verified offline, on the device. Open the network tab and watch — we insist.
Annual increases limited to CPI or 5%, whichever is lower — in the contract, not the FAQ. The pricing model never changes shape on an existing customer. No metering, ever.
iOS Safari and Android Chrome are release-blocking targets, not afterthoughts. Touch selection, keyboard avoidance, and tap-sized suggestions — handled, so you never think about it.
Why we exist
If you've licensed a rich text editor for a real product, you know these line items by heart.
